2 latest initiatives to ease Rakyat financial difficulties

This ongoing pandemic that has run amok for continuous two years has caused most Malaysians to suffer. Business is closed. Employees become jobless.

To combat and ease the financial constraint, our government has been giving financial grants, assistance and subsidies to business owners and rakyat.

A lot of us are still suffering without question. The damage from the pandemic is too big for most of us.

Wait no more. Goodies are coming to town.

Latest action from banks

Malaysian banks are instructed by MOF to offer an interest-free loan moratorium from October to December 2021.

Latest action from the EPF

The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) launches two new initiatives targeting employers, to ease the management of their cash flow during the pandemic and simultaneously allowing them to undertake their statutory obligation.

Interest-free loan moratorium from Oct to Dec 2021

Banking institutions have been instructed by the ministry of finance (MoF) to immediately work on the exemption from interest payments for recipients of bank loan moratoriums.

It will target moratorium recipients in the B50 segment.

Exemption from interest payments will be applicable for a period of three months from October to December 2021.

Banks would waive compounded interest and penalty charges for borrowers who take up the moratorium.

EPF late payment charges

The exemption from late payment charges refers to charges imposed on employers who fail to remit their EPF mandatory contributions by the 15th of every month.

Applicable to contribution for the salary from September to December 2021.

Employers are allowed to remit until the end of every month instead of 15th.

Automatic exemption ie employers are not required to apply for this exemption.

EPF Employer Pay Reduction Initiative (e-PaR)

e-PaR initiative offers employers up to a 70% reduction in outstanding late payment charges imposed for any period before August 2021.

Application for e-PaR initiative is required.

会计向来被视为有保障的行业之一，所以不少家长都会鼓励孩子考取专业会计师资格. 然而，随着人工智能科技越趋成熟，会计师也因此被预测在未来将有可能给机器取代.

面对工业4.0来袭，会计领域的就业率是否有受影响？

不管是经济好或不好的时候，都需要特许会计师来协助企业处理会计事务并给予发展建议. 任何领域都对特许会计师有一定需求.

Now…只不过会计领域的流动率不高，所以空缺不多，导致部分毕业生在获取工作上会有些许延误。

Senior 讲这个, Manager 做那个. 乱! 真的很乱! 小白的我什么也不懂! 很多时候 follow last year! 或者 follow 公司 sop! 我是无比的痛苦.

过了几天, 老板又出 Memo. 老板说病情稳定几天后出院. 听说8月1号才可以 staff meeting.

请问这间公司好吗 ? 请问这间公司有前途吗 ?只是觉得老板不当我是人 !

HRDF Exemption

Exemption of HRDF levy payment extend to 31.12.2021 (6 months) only if .... otherwise to 30.06.2021 (1 month) exemption.

All registered employer under the scope is eligible for the exemption!

• 6 months exemption if you are registered under the expanded scope;

• 1 month if you are registered under the original scope.

PS #1 Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob on 30 May 2021 announced the SOPs for the nationwide lockdown that will be enforced from 1 - 14 June 2021. The full list of approved essential services and operations allowed as well as the permitted movement controls can be accessed here #1, while the list of prohibited services, operations and activities can be accessed here #2.

PS #2 It was also announced that essential activities in the Manufacturing and Manufacturing Related Sectors (MRS) will be allowed to operate during the nationwide lockdown, subject to approval from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). For a full list of SOPs for sectors allowed to operate during the nationwide lockdown, please click here #3 . Effective 31 May 2021, all existing permission letters issued by MITI will no longer be valid and companies are required to refer to the relevant ministries regulating their sectors or the National Security Council (MKN).

We are not happy with Wages Subsidy Program (WSP) 3.0

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐒𝐏 𝟑.𝟎 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 because staffs have 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 (𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝) since WSP 1.0 and WSP 2.0

We understand one of conditions is to 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧/𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐒𝐏? But...If staff want to resign, what can we do?

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭? 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐥?

Background of WSP 3.0

WSP is back, are you eligible to apply?

Budget 2021:

1. Tourism and retail industries only
2. Date of application: 1st Jan 2021 - 30th June 2021
3. Period of subsidy:
   - Existing applicant 3 months
   - New applicant: 6 months
4. Subsidise amount: RM600 per employee with salary under RM4,000

PERMAI:

1. Open to all industries in states in MCO
2. Date of application: 19th Jan 2021 - 30th June 2021
3. Period of subsidy: One month
4. Subsidise amount: RM600 per employee with salary under RM4,000

Condition of WSP 3.0:

1. Company have to apply thru SOCSO website
2. Only for Company with revenue reduced by 30%
3. Company is registered with SOCSO or PERKESO before 1/1/2021
4. Up to 500 employees (based on size of entity) can be claimed for WSP3.0
5. If employees resign voluntarily, Company only need to update the list of employee before 15th of the month

Entity size under WSP 3.0

1. Below 75 employees (Number of limit which can claimed : 75 employees)

2. 76 to 200 employees (Number of limit which can claimed : 200 employees)

3. More than 200 employees (Number of limit which can claimed : 500 employees)
